i will release first mortal kombat doom before resident evil doom demo, the reazon is becuase the progress mortal kombat doom is very advanced, and only left few characters for include to the player select ( this chars will be added for the final version), also the principal objetive was done: create 4 arcade ladders, only need to be tested on multiplayer and i guess the best for this could be qzdl. The release date could be some of the first days of october.

the demo still compatible with the gzdoom hack called tower of babel, and will be included into the file when the demo is done.

pd: the demo only will include some finish moves, the fatalities are very complex for a demo, but is most easily add almost brutalities or friendships.

Assuming the computer-controlled AI is DECORATE/ACS-based... that is pretty bad-ass.

yes, is decorate + acs and the reaction depend how many we press any buttom or special move.

is love to see this really kick off, like a separate modding scene within the doom community, and be customisable to add alternative outfits/characters from MK1 and 2, and maybe even add new characters, imagine importing some Street Fighter characters? how awesome would that be!

oviusly is possible but is hard to do like any fighting game.

thanks! more than 1 year working on this, only i have 2 fatalities for the moment: subzero and scorpion, the rest are friendships and brutalities becuase are more easy.

This is just an Idea, but how about adding an Icon of sin like stage as an easter egg?

If that's the case maybe you could have some imps dancing in the background when someone performs a Fatality/brutality/friendship and so on?

ok, i need zdoom members testers for play multiplayer:

only is needed:

doom2 and the last version of zdl 3.2.2.2
the special gzdoom for this i will include into the foldier.

i never tested more than 2 players, maybe this could be a good oportunity.

only i need tro know who want the wad and i will give the download link, if all is ok, i will release the demo (founding bugs and other things) as soon is possible.

edit: oviusly this is a demo, is not strange found some missing things like uncomplete finish moves or some special moves, the idea is found bugs.
