That is true, heh.

The green cross-eyed fish was inspired by this fish:

But again, why fish? You can't even make hamburger helper with fish!

Eh-heh. Right. Although you have effectively found an excuse to work in the phrase "my projects," you have not said what makes fish great, as per the terms of the quoted question.

Hmm, what makes fish great? I doubt that any of us will be able to convince an independent thinker that a fish is "great" when some of us just don't like fish. I like fish, they have an air of mystery about them, living lives mostly veiled to our eyes, and at times I dream about them being in streams, lakes, even in swimming pools of distant memory. They are animals of beauty and efficiency and make a very fine meal too. A local Thai restaurant makes grilled catfish to die for (and that's actually an ugly fish with spines which can really put the hurt on you).

Oh, fish for avatars? Great or not, they just are. Enough carping on the topic for me. :)

I hope that was No Pun Intended...

I don't get what's so great about fish either. I guess it's another one of those odd trends, like obscure FPS characters, or Pokemon, or parodies of the dancing banana (which are quickly becoming more evil than the banana itself). And then, there's characters from obscure Japan-release-only interactive-fiction games based on still-obscure anime (like mine, for instance).

It's not a self-promotion of my wads (this is a self-promotion), I was just stating my avatar preferences, as I'm not one of those who has to have a fish.

What makes fish great? Well, they taste good and are good for you.

All right... I got it up. :D No fish for me, long live the Insane X!!! Please note that this is just a temporary avatar, I'll be looking for a better one soon.

P.S: You changed your avatar AGAIN, Mighty Duck Extreme? Oh boy...

[FUTURE EDIT] You know, I never once used a fish avatar. Never will, either.

1.) Click on "Profile"

2.) Scroll down all the way to the bottom

3.) You have two choices: Upload a avatar that is 80x80 or lower (can't be higher or be more than 6 kb in size) from your hard drive, or use a avatar from another URL (Same rules apply from here)

I made an animated Doomguy face that is about 16k and I could not use it here, so I used my DW avatar. :(

6k is quite ok. If all users would have an animated [and bloated] 80kb GIF, I
would "not be amused". Bandwith is still a luxury not available in the wilds.

Oh, Heck. I like the X. I'll keep ahold of it for awhile.

[FUTURE-EDIT] I changed my avatar a lot back in the day (Pre-Aeris, of course. ;), so this was a huge step for me.
