I was about to kill you there. That song is a bit too over used.. and annoying as hell.
I hope E2M8 is going to be a nice battle before going to fight the Cyberdemon. Kinda expect a multi-level (Teleporter?) tower, and the top has this 'overcharged' Cyberdemon. LoL.

But seriously. Hopefully the boss fight will be entertaining as hell.. and was there an 'entertaining' thread? I sorta just came BACK to the forums recently.

OH! also, the actual tower of babel in real, the myth, Never was finished, the gods or something gave EVERY worker there a different language so they couldn't understand eachother and finish the tower, i heard this story 3 years ago, So the fight in E2M8 is on top where the tower's works never got completed, it would be cool if you could make it a place wich is in ruin where you then fight the cyberdemon.
Those demons are incredibly efficient builders. No matter how quickly the Doomguy moves through E2, it's always finished exactly by the time he gets there.

The Tower of Babel story in the Bible likely references the massive ziggurat in the Babylonian city-state of Ur, which eventually was finished (and destroyed, likely centuries later). It wasn't a tower, per se, since around that time period, they were unable to build towers like that. "Tower" was just a translation.

It'd be even more epic if it fades to the end screen part of the way down, and ZInferno begins where you left off.
