Something else to keep in mind is that the weapons have the option of being levelable. So changing the function of them would mean having to change the behaviour of essentially 9 different variations of the same weapon.

If you love trees, you'll love all the trees I've been adding. Now almost every map has giant trees as opposed to 2 small areas and 1 map having large trees.

Why did you post a screenshot of Minecraft?chopkinsca wrote:If you love trees, you'll love all the trees I've been adding. Now almost every map has giant trees as opposed to 2 small areas and 1 map having large trees.

Yeah, they are blocky, but I'm too lazy to round them off more. Besides, it doesn't look too bad in motion.Ethril wrote: Why did you post a screenshot of Minecraft?

When my girlfriend first saw that, she went, "Wow, that is a cool Minecraft texture pack!"
But seriously, looking good!

I'm in need of a tester for feedback on the 'survival' mode of this mod. If anyone who is good at testing wants to help out, let me know.
Most of those trees were done in a couple of minutes to see how they looked. I'm going over them to make them less blocky.
Another 'before and after'

Are you just looking for one tester?
And what would the tester(s) be looking for exactly?

Updates:
-Boss health bars
-Display of what % of the island you've completed
-a background for the status display
-refinement on the status display (removed pointless stats. Display changes depending on what mode you are in.

I was looking for feedback on one of the game-modes I have added. I have one person to test, but having another person wouldn't hurt.Grymmoire wrote:Are you just looking for one tester?

If you want to see the new health bar and status display, here's an image (it spoils a hidden area of the island):

Looks good, besides the overlap of the health status.
Also the red sky honestly looks a little bland. Maybe some lightning or evil flying skulls could make it more interesting. Haha. Or some red fog, just a little.
Speaking of fog, if you haven't already, I imagine some fog inside some of the ruins (like the areas that don't get much sunlight) would add a nice mysterious touch. Bird chirping noises also at that previous screenshot (outsite the ruins), because it just seems like a peaceful area.

I don't think that's a red SKY.Red Phazon wrote:Looks good, besides the overlap of the health status.

It is. Maybe I'll model some rocks and put them floating out there.Doomhuntress wrote:Looks like the blood flat to me.
