Tangled my toes into an ethernet-cable connected to the modem, modem fell to the ground. Thankfully nothing happened with the modem.

I devised the basic Hipster's Favorite Band Selection Formula

1.New band rises, makes video on youtube of first song. Hipster listens to this song daily and blasts it out of his/her window to show how much of a rebel he/she is.
2.Uses microphone with speaker to record song from youtube video. Although this is because he/she is too impatient to let them put the music for sale on Amazon or ITunes, he/she instead says, they prefer the "Garage sound".
3.When song is available for purchase, he/she immediatley deletes the old file and complains about the quality. (note, before he/she stated that he/she enjoyed the "quality" or lack thereof)
4.Band gets signed to a record label, allowing them to produce more music with better instruments, ultimately making their dreams come true. Hipster sees this as selling out and blogs about how he\she used to like them before they went mainstream.
5.Band signs off of record label because the first label usually ends up being full of douches, Hipster forgets that they were ever signed for a label and listens to their music again, including the songs that they performed while they were signed with the record label.
6.Band signs on to new record label, this record label is nicer and actually knows how to do business with them. Repeat step 4.
7.Repeat with other bands.

If you want to get your mind off of it, try something else that's fun and productive. Trolling StormFront.org, a Neo Nazi/KKK website by joining their ranks and posting interracial and or homosexual pornography en masse to multiple threads always makes me cheery.

It's fun because it freaks out Nazis and Klansmen, it's productive because it freaks out Nazis and Klansmen.

Clearly I snapped when I said that... plus she got in contact with me a few hours after that saying sorry for pushing away and we talked a bit more afterwards, so it's not like I don't know what I want to do.

I have something I need to make in Second Life. dunno if I'll get it done before Saria wants to go to Meditation for the first time. Not sure if I'll miss the point of meditation if I'm working at the same time, either, so... It's a bit weird, it's Taoist stuff but I don't know how well that meshes with Christianity. Guess I'll find out shortly.

it's Taoist stuff but I don't know how well that meshes with Christianity.

I recently read the Tao Te Ching, and in general it does mesh a bit with Christianity. It is to Chinese culture how monastic life is to Catholicism; it's more a lifestyle and philosophical standpoint than a religion in and of itself. The few actual religious principles are surprisingly Christian as well, though Heaven in Taoism and ancient Chinese religion in general is more like the Holy Spirit than a place where God resides, and what I assume is sort of a proto-Mother Nature is applicable to God as well, to an extent.

Unfortunately, one of the problems with syncing a philosophical viewpoint with Christianity is that they sometimes tend to bend Christianity to suit the philosophy a bit, which kind of defeats the purpose.

I spent the last two hours laying down motionless over what I think might of been loosing a very, very, very close friend. And at best is a goodbye for an indeterminate period. All this when we both know that my heart could fail anytime till we meet again.

I certainly hope we get to talk again. Even just one last time.
