Norton? Sad to say, I've not heard much good about Norton AV lately.

CCleaner. You can actually add whatever directories / file types you need to.:)

Re: Demon Eclipse (WIP) - Incomplete Beta Up

Here is the incomplete Beta, download if you want to play around with it:

http://files.drdteam.org/index.php/file ... -ic209.zip

A lot of things aren't finalized yet and will be updated as I have time. There are 4 DM (TDM) maps included in the new DE-MP.wad. I'll add more in time, as well as CTF maps. Note that the last section of the new Map08 is not yet finished. However, most of it is fully playable. It should be a large improvement on the old, cluttered version. There is also a secret map for Ep1, you cna access it through map02 (or cheat "changemap secret1").

-------------
DE UPDATE
-------------

After some reevaluation, I've decided to remove EP4 from DE, and save it for DA instead. I've reached this decision after evaluating the mapping and gameplay style I wanted for it. It wouldn't fit DE too well given it's set of monsters. This also leaves only EP3 monsters and weapons to complete, as well as the map befpre DE is completed. A Short term goal, i think, would be better for such a dragged out project.

I noticed lots of good yum in this beta: the HRL and the Repeater got a facelift, and I saw a new monster in there. Sweet.

I'm gonna play this later and see what else is new.

BTW, glad to hear your comp is better now.

MAP09 and SECRET1 crash for me. I'm using GZDoom r553 (ZDoom 1925).

Strange, they work perfectly fine for me with the same SVN build.

Nice new version there Eriance, was looking very forward to this. Also good decision you've made with shortening episodes, as episode 3 will be 3 episodes in one; as it seems :) How many maps will each plane have ?

Note that the 1.3 betas are more recent than GZDoom r553.

Each plane is 1 giant map. You'll be able to go back and forth between the planes and the main hub, like Hexen. It wont, however, require you to find switches to solve puzzles. It's design that you can progress through the entire map, and fire the bosses without going to other maps. However, each map has it's own weapon, and it would be difficult to progress through the maps and fight the bosses without first collecting all the weapons from each plane. Each map also has a several super-secrets or locked areas (by colored skulls) where you find the upgrade pieces for the weapons to unlock their alternate fire-mode - these are optional.

I'm using Gzdoom 1.3.1 (r553) and it works fine for me. O_o The text file is outdated. You'll need GZdoom r553 and up to work.
