High Model Screenshots of Doom3 monsters?

Post by Amuscaria »

Does anyone know a source or have high-detailed screenshots of the Doom3 models with their skins (preferbly in multiple angles)? Google has come horribly short. D:

I'd be happy to get those screenshots, for you. What monsters would you like?

Spoiler: Trite
Spoiler: Tick
Spoiler: Revenant
Spoiler: Pinky
Spoiler: Vagary
I'll upload more a little later. I upped the brightness to maximum, but some might have to be brightened up more in Photoshop or something.

Personally, I'm hoping I can use some of the ones you make, for my own project (Tick, and hopefully Maggot and Cherub, especially). :P

Ah sweet thanks. :D These will do just fine.

EDIT: WTF? The tick's legs are just flat textures? o_o

Yeah, I know. I guess they wanted to give the impression of thin legs, but they didn't pull it off well.

Anywho, more:
Spoiler: Hell Knight
Spoiler: Lost Soul
Spoiler: Mancubus
Spoiler: Maggot
Spoiler: Cherub. Couldn't get a good shot of it from the front, but that should be easy on Google Images
This thread should come in handy, also, for people wanting to sprite for the D3 monster pack. :)

is it just me or does the expansion to doom 3 seem like it made the game more complete? It seems a huge chunk of monsters that were missing from the original made their appearance in the expansion.

The only monsters introduced in the expansion (bosses included) are the Vulgar, Forgotten One, Hazmat Zombie, Helltime Hunter, Berserk Hunter, Invul Hunter and Maledict.

I'd've uploaded those, but I don't have the expansion, yet. :?

They had an arachnotron, but it never made it in i think? You can download it from a mod, though.

Well, that one looks kind of silly in game :?

By the way the D3 mancubus does look pretty freaky now that I have a good look at it, the hardest part would be getting the recolour right, instead of grey, a sort of pale white/pink, makes it look like a freakish overgrown baby, there's a grey/green spattered Mancubus in the expansion, in the nukage tunnel area, seems they like to gobble down toxic waste too, would make a nice variant, but probably not worth the effort

The Mancubus looks like a fat Strogg. :P

Most impressive Doom 3 monster for me has to be the Revenant now that I've seen the extent of its translucent body properly. Never realised it had large thigh muscles and stuff before.
