Heh, I feel content knowing I and many, many others assisted in the project, even if it was just little things here and there. :)

EDIT: New download link up for those who don't want to wait for idgames to update.

I happen to be in the mood for making trailers for noteworthy mods, recently.
I would be so glad to contribute one for Cold as Hell. I loved it back when it first showed up, bugs aside.
Yes, a trailer would be awesome. Thanks for offering.
Phucket wrote:Just out of curiosity, is there going to be a sequel? That's basically the impression I got from the ending.
Yes, that is the plan. I'm planning to take a bit of a break until the new year, then start preliminary work on a follow-up. I'd like to avoid saying too much at this point, since all that exists is basic concept work (mostly all in my mind), but the idea is to pick up the story several decades after the events depicted at the end of CAH and tie up some of the loose ends from the ending from a new perspective.

Also, the final version is sitting in incoming on idgames waiting to be put into newstuff to replace the version that's there now. I did the final bake on the ladder and faucet myself, and put in Nash's table texture. I'll upload a Rapidshare version too, I suppose.

Thanks for the congrats on the award, and thanks to everyone that helped out.

Congratulations on your Cacoward! Regarding the sequel...

Can I be your 3-d model artist? XD

(I'm serious)

(BTW sorry for not submitting the ladder and the faucet... I've had some personal problems the past few days)

No worries, it was easier than I thought it'd be to do using Blender, and the ladder was a simple mesh.

If you'd like to do modelling work, I'd be happy for the help, although work won't be starting for a few months. I'm not very familiar with your work in general - how are you with character/monster work?

I was thinking of being a props modeler because those are pretty easy and normally don't require animation, but eh... well I've done some characters, nothing finished though. And nothing really interesting... just doodles and stuff. But if you wanna see them...

Your props work is quite good, and if you're willing to help out I'd be glad to give you the "job," as it is. I also saw a 3d hud model of a plasma rifle on your site - you did that yourself? It looks good.

Thanks! I realize you won't be starting in quite a while - I'll be around here so you know where to find me.

Oh that plasma gun? That's not mine, that's from the JDoom model pack. I can't remember why it's there... I think people wanted to see how HUD models in GZDoom looked like when it was just implemented so I uploaded that file there... or something? Heh can't remember.

Just FYI, the final version is up in the newstuff directory now. I'll replace the download link in the original post when I get the chance.

EDIT: Done. idgames should be the latest and final version.

Congrats on winning a Cacoaward!

I just tried the game on Tactical/Lunatic and I see the bleeding warnings, and bandages work. However, when I play on Realistic/Lunatic I don't get any bleeding warnings at all no matter what I do. I don't bleed at all, so it makes having bandages worthless for me. Could it be a bug? I'm using GZDoom 1.1.6 r239 with the Final version of CAH.

Don't know if you want this or not but I just started playing with the newest version and there is a big tree in the sky on the first map:

Just randomly skipping around levels, I found these imps getting a bit too close to each other on the last level (they are stuck)

Yay, triple post. :P

Map06, short building obscuring tall building behind.

And, also, I noticed that it is possible for the guys in the jeep to die with no adverse effects: the vehicle keeps moving, the dead guys keep talking, the level completes. OK, OK, I used MDK to kill them :P but can it happen without cheating?

Oh, and another thing that I have been meaning to mention for ages ( ) is that if you have lights.pk3 autoloading (as many people do) the CAH keys glow inappropriate colours. It would be a good idea to override the key glows in your own doomdefs/gldefs.
