ZHalloween [is this even still being worked on?!]

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Will it be released in time for this Halloween?
I'm not gonna promise anything, as I haven't been very good with those in the past......

I am, however, quick at work to get a DEMO out, which I should've done long ago. I'm going to try my best on finishing the rest, but you should definitely have the demo (once it has been properly tested)

careful with demos, might ruin the actual "product".
Some projects (especially scary ones) don't go too well with demos.

If you release a demo be aware that the final thing might not be such a big hit anymore.

It will be the simultaneous release of the century, alongside Duke Nukem Forever.

Wow, if that isn't enough motivation to release, I don't know what is.

Having been badgered with this same exact thing with a stupid webcomic once, it was enough to sit down and get cracking. :P

I've said it before in this thread, but I'll say it again.

Kirby, just hand over the project to someone who can finish it for next year's Halloween (yes, next year - I know it's not going to be done in time for this year's Halloween).

Make an announcement or something to attract people who'd like to finish it.

*epic noooooooooooooooooo* D:
Hmm...
Once upon a time, there was a little guy named Mr. Cookie. It was the 15th of july. Summer, heat, brightness fills earth all over the place. Nothing to worry about. Mr. Cookie woke up at 2 pm (because it was summer break) and decided to take a look at the zdoom forums, to see if there's anything new. He used the search feature to try and look for the "next ghoul's forest wad", but he had no luck finding a new one. However, he noticed the search resulted an unusual thread. He searched for the words "scary, ghoul, creepy, meepy". oops, no meepy. So the strange thread the search contained was named "ZHalloween wad". Mr. Cookie didn't hear about it yet, so he decided to check it out. He looked at the thread date and saw it hasn't been posted in for about half a year. He also noticed the project was released last halloween, so Mr. Cookie decided to download and play it. He was very curious, and eager to play it. Several hours later... Mr. Cookie finally quit zdoom (which had the wad loaded in). He was shaking, thrilled, but after all he had fun. He then went back on the zdoom forums to bump the zhalloween thread with compliments. The End?
