Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
JPG bad!
Also, I know some of them are only minor variants, but by now I'd like to see something totally new. We're 14 years past the birth of Doom, I was kind of expecting more than minor variants and edits by now, I'm sorry.

Well, not all of us are blessed with Eriance and Vader quality graphical skills. If it was truly that easy to pump out things like they do, I have no doubt we'd have some very interesting creations.Project Dark Fox wrote:Also, I know some of them are only minor variants, but by now I'd like to see something totally new. Oh, I know, but other sprite artists have come and gone between that time period, too. It was a generalized comment.

Yes, I understand. I wasn't trying to put anybody down or discredit others.Project Dark Fox wrote:Oh, I know, but other sprite artists have come and gone between that time period, too. It was a generalized comment.
One frame may look cool, but is just about useless in-game, I'd rather see a full sprite set..+:icytux:+. wrote:well.. u dont have to be as skilled as vader and eriance for making ONE frame.

There are already the rotations from Kdizd, but it would still need some work to make it look good

Flame/Plasma Orb. I did this out of boredom, so it's not much.Slasher wrote:What do you call it?Blade Nightflame wrote:
