Hehe, it's normal from me. I normally draw that kind of sign that he's male. Nothing else. Just a bad habit.

I think it would be best if you raise his arm a bit higher, so it doesn't look like he's grabbing his crotch.

Actually, it'd be best if he started over, or did some heavy editing. There are nasty anatomical problems there, poor color choice and shading too, and it looks like something out of a Simpsons mod.
