Hellser's Special Effects (Released)

Hellser's Special Effects (Released)

Post by Hellser »

After the failed attempt of KDiUD (which is probably on paused or canceled) I'm going to have fun with Decorate!

HR-SE I'm going to be calling it, has bullet puffs, rocket explosion upgrade, barrel explosion upgrade and random other things. Heres a list of whats added in:
  • Rocket Explosion
    Barrel Explosion
    Plasma Rifle Shot Shockwave
    Arachnotron Plasma Rifle Shot Shockwave
Tree Splinters (Dosn't bounce, sadly.. damn physics)
    "Meat" (hanging) corpses drips blood
I'm going to announce more later, I don't want people stealing my ideas.. >:3 Anyways, screenies will come up in a minute or two.

Please, when you use my work, do give credit where is due, as I will after I fully release this wad.

I rather like the rocket effect as well.

...where do those sparks come from that every other mod uses to replace Doom's bullet puff!?

Honestly, I have no idea.. I got it from a friend of mine who used to make mods for ZDooM and I keep my 'resources' all in one folder so I can go into it and grab the stuff that I need.

ACH! CRAP! Sorry, for a hotfix go into the wad and go to the decorate line that says "#include Pickups" and remove it. I was going to work on the pickups but decided not to.

Edit: Apparently, ZDooM dosn't read the BloodType right for the Tree.. GZDooM has no problem with it. and I fixed the wad... If you have XWE, open up the wad and put a // line for #include TREESPL (to remove the splinters) for ZDooM.. again, this is a wad for people to use the 'fancy-ness' from.

Edit 2: Link fixed with new HR-SE

Edit 3 (Last): I totally forgot about the #include PICKUPS... and will someone please message me about the BloodType fix for ZDooM? Or a way around it?
