Thanks, but I'm already using your resources. :D It's been useful so far, as the amount of stuff I have to rip is low. However, I also ripped out some monsters from both Witchaven 1 & 2. I want to use as few of them as possible as they're kind of crappy. Most of the creatures should come from Heretic or Hexen.

Here's something that might be useful to monster makers. These are the best, raw monster graphics taken from Witchaven 1 & 2:

witch_mon.zip - 3.13MB

Be Warned! There are 27 megs of uncompressed graphics in that zip. Most of those monsters aren't very good, but believe me when I say they were the best. These monsters will need a lot of clean up and work, but you might be rewarded by doing so. Use them however you want, just give credit to Capstone.

There were a few other monsters in the data files, such as a crappy crab monster, a sorceress with huge breasts, an egyptian sorceress, a crappy imp like creature, goblins, a devil and some persian looking guys. If you're interested in any of those, I can post them.

Witchaven had very animated weapons, so it should look great in action. The wad file is already 3 megs, and that's from weapon graphics alone. Most of the weapons have almost as many frames as some of the Doom monsters! :lol:

The only problem I'm having is how to handle all those melee weapons. I'm probably going to make certain monsters more resistant or susceptible to damage types, such as blunt, slashing or stabbing/piercing. Should be interesting. :D

Those monsters are pretty cool, Bouncy! I like these one's the best:

If you have all of their frames ripped, I could definitely use them. If not, don't worry about it. And yes, you do deserve a cooky for all that work. ;)

(I got sprites from the other two games as well, should i put up previews of their monsters?)

Hmm, I don't know yet. I want to use some choice monsters from Heretic and the Beastiary plus a few of Witchaven's monsters. I'm just worried I wouldn't have room for them. :/ But yeah, I would like to see them!

Alright, the Dagger is now in the mod. All I need now are appropriate medieval sounds. If any of you happen to have sounds for a blade being unsheathed, stabbing, slashing, hitting a wall, twirling and so on, please donate! :) I'll post screens in a moment.
