Nash's Gore Mod

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Bump. Screenshot from NashGore v2.0, which works both for ZDoom and GZDoom. GZDoom users will get a special treat...

Awesome work on simultating floor decals :). However, the blood on the floor is noticeably brighter than that on the walls.

Alright, I'll fix the floor blood colours. Too bad GZDoom's models do not support alpha, otherwise the floor blood spots can have smooth edges and translucency and stuff.

Also, just wanted to add that it's not apparent in the screenshot but the new blood trails look, move and feel almost exactly like Blood's. I've spent a lot of time tweaking it to behave like Blood's trail effects.

I'm interested in using this in a project of mine, but I would like to know, is there a less extreme version of this, because the blood fx are a bit overboard in my opinion. :lol:

Haha, blood wussies. You can still modify the wad to spawn less blood. ;)

But I wonder if this one is even out..?

Well yeah, they are kind of exagerated, but that's how Blood (the PC game) was like.

(Blood was the reason I created this WAD in the first place anyway)

This is about the most aggressive thing you can do to a computer, the equivalent of going up to a human being and saying
Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and blood; egg bacon and blood; egg bacon sausage and blood; blood bacon sausage and blood; blood egg blood blood bacon and blood; blood sausage blood blood bacon blood tomato and blood;

Do you have anything that doesn't have blood?
