I had DoomBuilder totally eat a map of mine once, too.
That's only useful if you catch the error immediately. If you're save-happy like I am (though I don't manually back up... I really should) you most likely won't even notice it until you go to reopen it. By that time, all the backups were overwritten with the bad map.Zippy wrote:DoomBuilder should make regular backup copies of the map if you have it enabled. I believe it keeps three or four backups by default, going back that many saves.
