In my humble opinion, a Networking Forum would be most welcome. There will always be issues directly related to networking.

I also would like to see the Editing Forum split into two sections:

Editing Forum
and
Scripting Forum

What do you think :?:

I don't think editing and scripting are sufficiently different to warrant 2 forums. They'd overlap, such as "how do I script map spots underwater" or some such, and anyone interested in reading about editing or scripting would have to visit both anyway.

Networking should have its own so I don't have to read any networking posts. 8-)

I think forum separation is for the reader, not the writer, so it should be along lines of interest, and I think the current ones + networking will do that well.

They could generate quite much traffic once there is a good networking support in ZDoom I think. Voted Yes.

Yes, absolutely. I think the netcode WILL become an inmport part of zdoom, and will continue to develop as such. It would be nice to use zdoom (or zdoomgl) for deathmatching without having to resort to Zdaemon (not ignoring the fact that skulltag will be out there, but that has its own place).

I choose No. Simply put I think it should be called "Command Arg., and Networking". In the past I've seen people post Command Argument questions in "Bugs", "Editing", and in "General". Those types of questions have no home of there own. Even though Networking is a Cmd Arg, and had it's own forum, Cmd Args as a whole did not. I say call it "Command Arguments, and Networking". This way they have a home, and it will generate more traffic also.

Posts are best left as quality, NOT quantity.

There's no reason at all to have a high post count. There don't appear to be any ranks on these forums, and having lots of posts does not signify in any way that you are better than anybody else. Think about what you're posting. Don't post one-word replies. Just overall, be a GOOD PERSON!
I would agree with that statement. I find lurking until you have something to say fairly useful. Its only downside is that I feel like I know everybody on the forum and when I post in a familiar way, people look at me funny.

Edit: That is why I have the title I have, incidentally. Now all I need to do is get it attached to my Doomworld persona...

It's better to ignore than to respond. That way there isn't a reason for more posts than uh... 'normal.'

Unless it's a more mature and helpful post.
