Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
Seems Windows 11 Auto HDR does not yet recognize UZDoom. I noticed I was on OpenGL, switched to Vulkan, and that let me support RTX HDR. Likely this is because GZDoom is recognized by name by Windows to opt in to Auto HDR if OpenGL is in DXGI Present mode.

Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
Hell yeah, congrats!
First tiny bit of feedback, is it possible to make the version number part of the package filename? "Windows--x86_64.zip" could be anything...

Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
Congrats on the release.
Aliens TC has had a behavior issue in GZDoom for some time: in E2M4, xenos are supposed to drop down from vents into the medlab, but they do not and get stuck on the edges. Changing compatibility modes does not seem to resolve it. Any chance this can be fixed?

Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
Thank you and congratulations on getting RC1 out the door. It's been a hectic couple of weeks+. Here's hoping that the transition from RC to final release is straight forward and the UZTeam can get back to something resembling normal life before too long.
Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
Congratz on getting the RC out! Here's to a bright future! sip

Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
This should be reported on the Bugs forum and/or the Github repository, otherwise it likely will get lost. If it's been an issue for a long time, please try and specify which version of GZDoom it started with.june gloom wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 4:17 am Congrats on the release.

Absolutely horrendous port. Who on earth designs these things, seriously. All that hype and such a boon because HDR doesn't work, boo.
.... Thanks on getting a RC out

They are actively taking any reporting issue in the UZDoom github site, submit a ticket there and hopefully they can assist you further on the bug in real time when they come around the reporting.

Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
Awesome! Been years since i've posted anything here, but i'd like to report that Windows 10 can be really annoying with virus detection and seems to be auto-tagging UZDoom as malware, i had to go to the Windows Defender section and make an exception. Otherwise everything ran smoothly (Including config transference). Wish you guys best of luck for future releases.
Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
Just a heads up, we pushed a minor fix for Linux since some distros were having issues using the AppImage + renamed the file names to be more readable.
