The above comments still apply. Its going to be very difficult for you to source these, but you have free sound and texture replacement sites you could try for some apparel details.

What you are asking is not just the animation, but also the assets associated with it + the ZScript/DECORATE code that needs to be there in order for it fulfill what you ask.

Since you yourself give enough reasons why it wouldn't work if you tried it yourself (Lack of patience) the only actual solution is to persevere and study other people's contents, or simply not make these requests at all.

Just like on Doomworld, you need to show off something to appeal to people. Simply showing up a link ain't going to cut it.

Especially when its about a mod that was released in 2019.

Help Wanted!

Help wanted:

We are making a Metroid Doom mod and custom campaign for it, but it's been on hold for various reasons. We need mappers, coders, and sprite artists to contribute in making this mod a reality. We need someone with a basic understanding of Ultimate Doom Builder and ZScript (which is derived from C#).

If you're willing to help contribute to making the mod and the campaign, join this Discord server here: https://discord.gg/pz3WC4zN

Looking for a sprite artist

Post by RedDragonCats17 »

Hey, guys. So, I'm looking for a sprite artist to make a assault rifle for my Doom Modernized mod. This rifle is based on a rifle that DrPyspy made a long time ago, but it has a scope and a AR-15 style cocking handle on the right side of the body. DrPyspy made a great rifle sprite, but I haven't gotten a response from him, so I'm wondering if I could get better luck here.

Is anybody up for the job? The style I'm looking for is a mix of a pre-rendered style and Heretic's/Hexen's style.

Here's the original sprite I'm referring to:

Edit: Here’s what I can do on my own: I can code, and I'm currently learning level design by myself, though I may need some help with that another time. I'll show you what I've made when I get home tonight.

Edit 2: The price for the sprites is negotiable, however, my limit is $100. I will pay more if necessary.

Here are some more references for the rifle. It's based on the H&K GC36: [imgur]https://i.imgur.com/1fr0LXu.png[/imgur]

It also has a scope merged with the carry handle. This is the best reference I can find: [imgur]https://i.imgur.com/68alGD4.jpg[/imgur]

Here is also the cocking mechanism for the rifle: [imgur]https://i.imgur.com/xF6eVRR.jpeg[/imgur]

@RedDragonCats17 I have merged your various requests under this thread and unfortunately issued a warning. You've spammed several request threads for people to make you a frankly ridiculous amount of sprites. I'd recommend starting with a smaller proof-of-concept project and learning how to do some placeholder art instead of clogging up the forums trying to get people to do everything for you.

If you want to make additional requests, do it in this thread and perhaps put a bounty on how much you're willing to pay per sprite.

So, here's what I've been working on as of late. This mod is for the rifle. I'm working on the grenade launcher as we speak.

Hey, guys. I have some more things I need a budget on. They're monsters, and while I do have references for them, I don't have any gameplay progress to speak of, unfortunately. But I do have sprite bases (of sorts for the Zombiemen replacement).

Here are the notes. And I actually do have references for the Zombiemen/Shotgunners and the Chaingunners.

This right here is the Zombiemen and Shotgunners.

And this is the Chaingunners.

I'll post the weapons they wield later, but right now, I need the base budget for each enemy.

Like the rifle for Doom Modernized, I'd like to spend at least $100 per animation, though I am willing to negotiate if necessary.

Edit: Honestly, for the Zombiemen replacement, I wish they could walk with a more tactical approach.

This has been going on since December 8, 2022. In the time it took you to get where you are now, you could have learned scripting, you could have learned to map. You could have learned UDB.

As much as i admire your perseverance, at this rate, it will take longer than one Star Citizen to finish what you want to achieve.

I have to agree with Redneckerz here. A proof of concept would help - a prototype for what you want to achieve. You could have worked on that in two to three years or so it's taken you.
