One thing that stopped me from returning about three years ago was a question I had about my realization about being plural. I realize not everyone likes the use of medical labels like DID and OSDD without official diagnosis, but for what it's worth I tend to fall under the latter category, no amnesia between alters.
To put it simply, I've had a headmate that I've acknowledged as her own identity for the past 18 years, and she will not be comfortable posting under my account. We've tried that approach in the past and it never works out well- she at minimum needs to be at minimum equal to me in identity, or things start falling apart for us.
My question to moderation is, how would you like me to address this issue? I have two solutions. The first is that my head mate joins under her handle SixtyEmeralds, which has the advantage of me keeping all of my history under me. Obviously, we'd agree to joint moderation, where anything that happens to me applies to her as well, and vice versa. But that would be additional work for the moderation team.
The second option would be for us to create a unified account on the forums under our system name TwinRoots, which makes it clear we're the same human behind the keyboard and gives our caretaker an equal voice in things, but it means the connection with my post history isn't as clear to new users.
How would you like me to proceed?
(Edit: spelling cleanup)

I have literally zero reference to your history, but seeing things like ''System name'', ''Joint moderation'' and what not i am just going to say, just let her have a separate account with the SixtyEmeralds name.

Can't believe I'm (or rather, we are) going public on the ZDF about this - As someone who is a plural system, something we have to realize is... we're all ultimately responsible for the whole system, regardless of technical and societal allowances and understanding.
We may suggest: Just tag your posts as who is fronting at the moment of posting, and have the admins change the account name your system is currently using. That feels the most effective way for all involved, your system and the administration on the ZDF.
As a related aside: we still go by SanyaWaffles because it sounds better and feels right for us. Sanya fronts most of the time anyhow.

Re: DID, OSDD, and how that affects moderation
Welcome back DoomRater
good to see a familiar name again. Thanks for being open and asking, and bear with me as this is not something I have any experience dealing with. It's taken a few rewrites and editing to realize my typical vocabulary for expressing my position isn't really compatible with the situation y'all are in.
My knee-jerk preference is to minimize the number of accounts requiring attention, basically as per with Sanya's suggestions. That said: Functionally all I see on the internet are account names; I typically don't see the individual meatsuit behind them. My primary concern with "alt" accounts is astroturfing, e.g. the same person presenting multiple false fronts for nefarious reasons. If the posting habits are typically unique and not engaged in problematic behavior, I see accounts as distinct users and don't really care too much beyond that. For example, I'm sure there are at least a handful of people who were perma-banned for bad behavior at some point, and have quietly corrected that behavior under positively-contributing new identities. While I don't outright encourage that, I don't lose sleep over it either.
If a separate account makes more sense for your situation and doesn't cause trouble or come to my attention for moderation reasons, then I see no reason to forbid it.
