I tried putting it up for 24 hours, but I was told that aside from the copyright issue, the download didn't work right.

What tracks did you go for with yours? Mine mostly have a "1980s metal mixtape for D&D sessions" vibe, with tracks from Grim Reaper, Chastain, Warlock and Angel Witch.

Another small patch to the main download was added; mostly this one just adds Extreme Death sprites to Orks, as they didn't have it before, as I kind of ran out of time to sort them out before release, but now they're in. It also should stop certain pillars jumping around if hit by Heavensever's dimensional cut.

Not an essential download by any means, up to you if you want the above.

Ah, mine is less interesting, just the coolest metal remixes I could find of base-game doom tracks.

Today we're covering some Hexen, specifically a full hub-wad called Desecration, by TheHambourgeois, using the Magister.

It's pretty rare to find an interesting Hexen Hub (often they're a once a year thing!) but this one came out in October '24 and I hadn't checked it out yet. Some nice use of ambient lighting and slightly less conventional use of the standard Hexen resources is always a plus. Bit of a back and forwards kind of hub rather than collect and go, but otherwise a solid experience. For the acute who notice the save load in the middle; yes I suck at making my way across icy crevices (lol). :P

I found a bug where I can't upgrade Parias's weapons with the whetstone. It keeps aborting.

EDIT: Never mind, I'm stupid. I'm using Jmod and I kept thinking the whetstone was used for everyone.

Yep, everyone has their own upgrade item.

My spawners should always create the right item for the character you are playing, but other mods will not know the difference, of course.

I don't know if I missed something in the comments but has anyone had the bug where the mod menus don't appear in Herectic and Hexen?

Still working for me. I would make sure that Simple Option Menus under the basic options is set to "NO", just in case it's that.

But if you're not seeing the Titlemap and the menu popup, you're NOT loading the mod, please check your load order.

Also, I've applied a fix for Spider Mastermind which somehow broke in the last hotfix (how I broke that I don't know, but it's HP was being set to 100 lol).

Strange, I couldn't do it, I'll test an old version of GZDoom to see if the problem persists.

EDIT: I discovered the problem, it doesn't work in any language other than English but this problem only occurs with Herectic or Hexen.

Hm, that is to be expected. I don't have any language files for anything else included other than English. Why Doom specifically works, I have no idea.

No problem, I thought it was a more serious error, but it was just the language.
