What the fuck is this?
Pisstake is a dumb Doom mod about some Welsh twat going on a journey through time and space following a horrific accident at the chippy. This mod takes heavy inspiration from, and I know this will raise some red flags but bear with me here, Grezzo 2 and it's spiritual successor Regular Day. However, this mod aims to double down on the bizarre, demented and comedic nature of those mods rather than trying to be super edgy and offensive, which means there won't be any hardcore blasphemy or porn everywhere making this mod actually appropriate to be shared around. This mod also aims to feel like its own competent little game like what Regular Day was trying to achieve. This mod also currently only works with GZDoom, although I do plan for Zandronum compatibility in the future (not with the campaign, though. You'll see).

Enemies:
The enemies you face vary from level to level. One moment you'll be fighting some local twats armed with guns, and the next moment you're up against the forces of hell. However, there will be some recurring enemies between levels in order to keep things somewhat related, as otherwise it would feel like you're hopping from one game to the next (which it probably will still feel like regardless, but that's the joy of it all). You may recognise a few faces from British pop culture, or random characters that may or may not be inside jokes. There are also 2 big bosses to be fought in this demo, that's all I'm gonna say.
Skills:
Pisstake features 5 skill levels. However, these are explained in game so I won't bother going into detail about them here. They currently do not effect enemy placement and instead only affect their damage and aggression.
Levels:
This demo currently features the first 2 levels of the campaign, the totally real Welsh town of Pidynbach and Hell (quite the contrast between level themes, eh?). These levels are quite sprawling and feature plenty of things to shoot and secrets to find. However, they are a bit rough in some places (especially the first level), but I believe they're in a good state to be released.
Everything Else:
Pisstake also features a brand new HUD inspired by Postal 2 and Regular Day, alongside a brand new Game Over screen that's very uplifting and gives you very "useful" tips (too bad they get affected by the pre-calculated RNG Doom has sometimes).

I've thought for a while if this should be approved, and ended up playing this myself to take a look. Ultimately I decided to leave it to the community to judge. Personally, I can say that it's not Grezzo (despite featuring a poster with Grezzo at the very beginning, which I'm not a fan of); it's not trying to be grossly offensive at every turn, and I've not found any sexual content in it. The, uh, humor is not my cup of tea, but it is what it is.

On the technical side, the level design is reasonably competent, if at time simplistic. Not a fan of progressively annoying platforming, even though there's not a lot of it (people should really just stop trying to implement platforming unless they implement a custom movement system to go with it that works around vanilla Doom friction). I'd also recommend that the author builds a proper PK3 that incorporates everything, instead of uploading a loose collection of files for players to deal with. There's no need whatsoever to have a bunch of things in WADs, while others in PK3s. Maps can and should be properly packaged inside a PK3 (in the /maps/ folder). No WADs should be put at the root of a PK3. The how-to is documented in detail on the this wiki page. Also, weapons should give full magazines on pickup, and the HUD can and should be made to work on all resolutions (forcescaled is a thing), even though, as is, it can be scaled to work.

Other than that, like I said, let the others be the judge.

Thank you for the advice and criticisms (having the mags be empty on pickup was definitely a daft decision on my part). Regarding platforming, you won't see it very often in the full mod and I did try and implement a better air control system (although I don't know how noticeable it is in-game) to make it more bearable. As for how the mod is packaged, I'm definitely considering having everything in a single .pk3 file to make it easier for anyone to play the mod, although I am also considering making it standalone.
