Black screen when starting GZdoom via UDB

Hello. I have a problem where loading gzdoom via ultimate doom builder makes gzdoom show a black screen. I can still act in the game and the black screen disappears when I press escape. What could be causing this issue?

Also, this happens with every mod except doom delta.

Also, if I start a map where the sky is visible in UDB, the black screen does not occur.

What are the specs of your computer - particularly the graphics card?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-core processor
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT

This is very likely the same issue as one of these bug reports: 1, 2

Switching to the vulkan renderer seems to fix the issue.

This issue has been around for a long time. It happens when you specify the map on the command line. I made a thread here a while back. This sticky here didn't work for me either...
