Hello,
For my project Somewhere in Hell I have a looooot of weapons. They have a loooot of frames. This annoyed me so much to the point I thought I needed a much better workflow. Nash has once released a video where he showcased exactly what I needed but hasn't released it, so I decided to Do It Myself.
Without having prior experience to Python, let alone Blender's addon environment, I whipped up this quick script and am currently in the process of refining it to fit more peoples' needs. This workflow would thus allow you to make smooth, detailed animations entirely within blender, then export them to a zscript file that you can use. So what you end up with is less copy paste work.
I'm currently in the process of refining things, I hope to have a first release version soon
ZSAnimator - a Blender to ZScript workflow for weapon animations

This is gonna revolutionize weapon animations. I'd love to see a video going over the workflow itself.

Imagine a goldeneye-style "real aim" to go with it

Can someone please move this thread from Script Library to Resources? Since it's more of a resource

It's certainly been a while since I last posted here, but some significant things are in the works. I'm gonna make a proper example PK3 that contains everything you need to get started while also functioning as a playable standalone mod.
