Spooky/ Atmospheric Wads for Halloween

Since it's October, I figured it'd be be appropriate to discuss some wads with either a full-on horror focus or just have a horror-ish theme or atmosphere.

https://doomwiki.org/wiki/Happy_Time_Circus Happy Time Circus is a natural pick, as is the Ghoul's Forest series though I personally think most of the GF entries haven't aged particularly well. I really enjoyed Unloved, also.

I thought it would be acceptable to examine some wads with a full-fledged horror concentration or simply a horror-ish theme or mood.

Great picks! Add Winter's Fury, Going Down, and Total Chaos for chilling atmospheres. Classics like Cold as Hell and Void also bring strong horror vibes. Try pairing with mods like Brutal Doom Monsters Only for extra scares!
