Nightmare Logic IV has tons of weapons considered obsolete by today's standards... but it doesn't mean they're outdated for you.
They kick hard, and you'll know it right from the start that you could not wish for better equipment. Returning from the mod's origins, this time you can choose between two loadouts:
One where you have a faster (but weaker) pistol, along with a strong (but slow) melee weapon,
and other where you have a slower and stronger pistol, but with a meager melee. Choose wisely.
Mace
First of the melee weapons.
Slow and strong, but can take down enemies quite easily if you need to resort on it.
Cavalry Saber
The opposite to its melee counterpart.
The saber can be fast and reliable for tough situations, but takes more hits to put someone down.
Ruby 32ACP
This small pistol is one of your options when choosing a class, bundled with the Mace.
Although firing a weaker caliber, can be a good plinker if you wish to save ammo and take enemies down with some mercy shots.
Uses Pistol Ammo.
Mauser C96 (Rot 9)
The other pistol choice. This German pistol is prefered for its reliability.
Accurate and strong enough as a workhorse through your campaign.
Uses Pistol Ammo.
Webley Mark VI
British revolver that fires a propietary cartridge.
The break action system allows for faster reloads, but also provides a fragile frame.
Pretty useful for mid-tier enemies and backup plans in tough battles.
Uses Revolver Ammo.
RSC 1917
Semi-Automatic French rifle, will be your partner for a long time.
Can easily take down lower enemies, ammo is aplenty. Never underestimate it's power.
Uses Rifle Ammo.
Mannlicher M1895
This Austrian weapon works best when used as your sniper tool. Has a powerful shot,
but the bolt-action system can be it's biggest weakness. The big scope also means you can't reload a full clip at once,
making it slower.
Uses Rifle Ammo.
Hellriegel 1915
One of the few ever extinct firearms of the world today, this weapon, also Austrian,
will be your machinegun company. You would definitely find MP18s more attractive and easier on the battlefield,
but this gun is light and has big drums for the overall capacity it offers. Useful for tough battles and crowd control.
Uses Pistol Ammo.
Martini-Henry Grenade Rifle
Probably the first ever instance of a weapon akin to a grenade launcher.
You load a blank round, load a grenade similar to the Mills bomb, and everything else is predictable.
Spawns in backpack spots.
Uses Grenade Ammo.
Browning Automatic Rifle
Revolutionary weapon, made for and forged for wars.
This machinegun would still serve use for 50 more years. Spawns in Rocket Launcher spots.
Uses Machinegun Ammo.
Browning Auto-5
A certain novelty sent by north-american troops.
Fires a powerful buckshot brass, capable of taking down most creatures.
Uses Shotgun Ammo.
Model 1900 Double Barrel
While a slower shotgun with less ammo capacity does not seem like a good alternative to the BFG spot,
damage will speak for itself. Can easily incapacitate monsters while saving ammo.
Just remember to cover while reloading.
Uses Shotgun Ammo.
Hand Grenades
Grenades can be a blessing or a curse. They're pretty useful for crowds and corners.
Just mind your distance. Easily obtainable in bonus item spots.
Uses Grenade Ammo.
