Crushing 3D Floor Issue

Post by Daryn »

boris pointed me to a method on how to make 3D floors crush, however, there seems to be an issue where the crusher will stop, no matter what crush mode you select.

It seems as if when a crushing sector is linked to a 3D floor something isn't being taken into account.

I'll upload the example map boris put together here, too.

I'm bringing it up here because it seems like something folks would want to use, I know we're trying to.

The ideal behavior is that the 3D floor could pin and crush a player or monster, and then upon killing them continue to lower to its destination. Hopefully this is something that could be looked at.

As always, thanks for all the time and work that goes into GZDoom!

Here is a link to the convo, for the sake of completeness.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm curious what you folks think.
