Introducing the Community Guide Program

We sure do have a lot of rules and guidelines threads - find them all here, and please make sure you've read them! Also, community-wide announcements (that aren't major ZDoom News) go here as well.

Remember? I had no idea you can do it in the first place, never heard of that concept! But it is a good idea :)

My goodness!... well, I guess, thank you? Just don't get disappointed because I am known to disappear from these forums for long times. Sometimes it just so happens that I've had enough Doom for right now, and want to switch to something else instead. But I've kept returning so far because there are still a lot of WADs to play through, and GZDoom has everything to run them on a modern system without any hassle and with great visuals (compared to vanilla).

Last time I came back, I thought to myself, since I'm here anyway, why not see what kinds of questions the people are asking and try to answer some? Especially considering that many of them were about ZScript, and I was working with it a lot at that time.

And regarding bug reports - well, as the saying goes, I'm a simple man... I see a bug, I try to reproduce it, write everything down and send a report. :P

Congratulations to Boondorl!

For many recent contributions, both to GZDoom's source, and most importantly, to immense documentation about ZScript.
