It's really, really interesting in that it's a flying enemy that tilts (undead or drunk? :P :D) and also each of its side angles are COMPLETELY different from each other; that change in perspective is actually really cool!

Outside of the game, I think I prefer the deeper red since I like colors to pop personally, but given the aesthetic of your second episode and keeping in mind how the game will look while playing, the faded colors probably match better with your putrefier as someone else mentioned and general undead look? Looking good regardless!

I added a few colors to the palette so some colors appears correctly. Also, the brown version's lightning is now a slight green.

You know, I cant help but feel the hellknight/baron would also really benefit from similar treatment.
a necro-knight if you will?

yes I know you have the roster planned out already but I cant help thinking that with the desaturation the sprites in hf2 seem to have and their general rotton frame, they could be synonymous, as to their origins, but 'twould really flesh-out the whole, "there was a great battle here, and some of the dead still dont die..." vibe going on...
I mean, they are the kind of thing you could imagine being just too cussed to die properly... ;)

just food for thought...

Not happening for this release. Maybe for a future update. Got enough on my plate already to add anymore. Unless I remove monsters I currently have for something else.

oh, no of course. the project is pretty stacked out and form what I've read looks to have a good balance in mind. everything has its place and purpose. very little redundancy int he bestiary as far as I can see...

was just musing... ;)

Completed. This one didn't take very long at all. Moved most of the detail to the modeling stage, instead of the spriting one.

EDIT: Polished up the sprite sheet a bit.
