Buy menu does not work in Psychic #5b5

As the subject says, the buy menu in Psychic #5b5 does not work--the menu is stuck at its "welcome" screen.

... and it will happen in all future versions, too. The check being performed here in the mod is wrong, plain and simple. I know this idea came from some ill-advised info on the Wiki, but that still doesn't help. This more recently added BT_ flag works a little bit differently.

This needs to be fixed in the mod.

And it's already long been fixed, too (only two days after this report, even!), so players just need to update their copy of the mod.
