This was epic I loved it. Very easy to get lost. A bit laggy for me but that's probably just from the mods and reshade.

Thanks for giving it a go!

It's probably down to the high number of linedefs. I remember trying to use a flashlight mod and the frame rate just tanked.

Well that was fun, can you please just change the sprites for revolver and shotgun ammo to be more recognizable.

Thanks, but what do you mean exactly? Not sure they can be mistaken for something else?

They also show up very brightly in the dark.

It doesn't look like ammo hence I have issues recognizing it as such and only notice due to text pop up.

Love CountryCide! It's laced with Lovecraftian darkness! Very spooky environment, wish I had a doublebarrel shotgun!

Very interesting stuff, very innovative. You have a very individual mapping style using several rarely used features which allow you to craft something quite unique. Personally, the trench warfare map was more to my tastes style-wise, but Countrycide is also a stunning offering. Great work. :thumb:

Thanks man its an honor. :)

I should note the underground well, sewer puzzle area was heavily modified and transformed by Trenchwork member and lead coder DyNaM1K.
He makes use of a number of features I tend to look over (3d floors for instance) his mapping style is less "rough around the edges" too.

We'll have far more trenches and bunkers to explore when chapter one is released.
