I feel this really needs some sort of manual, or at least an attached tips text. Like how you need to know that running diagonally is faster, or that you can climb vines, or that bouncing blocks work depend on the speed you're moving at. That last one is particualrly obtuse to suss out, and without that knowledge one level is literally unwinnable. Not to mention that some bouncing blocks will still send you where you need to go even with minimal speed, but others wont.

To be fair, the first one is just straferunning that is a kinda old knowledge. The one with the vines could be confusing but if Im not mistaken there's little use of stairs or vines use appart from maybe the first map.karry299 wrote:I feel this really needs some sort of manual, or at least an attached tips text. This one is actually a good tip to have in mind, the music blocks are sometimes difficult to use, specially while crossing abyss of some sorts. Still at this point the Old good Golden Souls is kinda old to have a manual made for new players, since the plattforming is mostly basic appart from the examples you mentioned.karry299 wrote: or that bouncing blocks work depend on the speed you're moving at.
