Alright, I think I've figured it out. Use YY-CHR.NET and set the format to 8pp SNES (128x128) using a ZSNES/ZMS savestate as a palette. You'll get something like this:
These are actually the same frame, just split into two for compression's sake, if you get what I mean. What I do is rotate 90 degrees, then stretch horizontally 200%...
...then delete every second line...
...then overlay the two images over each other so that one fills in the missing lines on the other.
Sorted! A perfect rip, direct from the ROM! Well, sort of. Some frames are split across multiple files, and the pickups tend to be stuffed into the corner of other frames. Still, a strong start.
As an example, the Raptor's death frames.
I'll see what else I can do and whether I can automate this further.

Alrighty, here's every texture/sprite from the 3D sequences, converted to PNG and processed appropriately. They'll still need a bit of cutting up and gluing together, but I wouldn't want to take away all the fun, now would I?
EDIT: Updated to fix an issue where textures were one pixel less wide than they should have been, making it impossible to stitch them together properly.

I have basically zero use for this, but I wanted to let you know that it's been awesome watching the progression of this project, and I'm glad you finally found a way to rip the graphics directly!

Hurts my soul a bit to think about how all of that probably took you the same amount of time as it took me to piece together one or two wall textures ... but thanks!

Seeing all this is making me excited.
I have an idea for a mod, or rather...a total conversion.
a complete FPS remake of Jurassic Park on the Super Nintendo,
aptly titled "Jurassic Park T.C."
I've played the SNES game SO MANY times, that and the NES game. I may have some gripes with BOTH games, but there were aspects of them I liked. The NES game had
a banger soundtrack composed by the same guy who did the SNES soundtrack: Jonathan Dunn.
I'd say out of the two, the SNES game is the better game. I just get so god damn lost, and the first person sections make me sick. It's LITERALLY Wolfenstein 3D with dinosaurs!
That's beside the point.
I wonder if anyone is interested in helping to get this idea off the ground?

There was an FPS-style adventure game for the Sega CD that had a pretty cool T-Rex segment, as well as Triceratops if that would interest anyone whose good at ripping sprites.
