Some weapons after upscaling do not look good. Shotgun and supershotgun are very bad. I made complete new shotgun from scratch.

Yes, these really are nicely done.

Generally, I'm not a big fan of most of the "upscaling" projects that have been done. Even with AI and hand touch-ups, they often end up looking like the sprites have been painted in oils or something.

These, however, are different. Part of this, of course, is because so many of the original D64 sprites, despite generally being bigger than the OG PC sprites, are a blurry rendered-then-resized-with-too-much-anti-aliasing mess. However, this project is adding back the detail in a very sensitive way that is entirely consistent with the style of the sprites. Finally we are getting to see what these things were probably meant to look like. Great job.

I'm glad you like it. This is very slow process. Not everything look how I want but overall is not bad. I like upscaled packs for blood, shadow warrior and duke for Raze. Those are very nice and yes you are true many upscaled packs looks bad. Very blurred or distorted shapes and strange colors. I like pixels. Ion Fury is great example how looks nice modern sprites. I am finished today all weapons and tommorow I will upload them on Moddb. Weapons are little blurred but main frame has cleared edges and corrected shapes and all frames are without transparent edges or cleared how was possible.

Name is ok but d64 sprites are very dark. After brightening color on sprite brightmap works how I want.
