The perspective on the tesla coil's coil is bending a little too inwards.

Maybe so, but I am not interested in going back now.

Absolutely awesome! You're doing an incredible job all around, the graphics in this thread are truly fantastic! Witchaven and Cybermage also have graphics that would benefit being widescreen, but quite honestly I'm not sure how feasible that would be...

@Dynamo
Thanks

So, I've been playing around with DAIN-APP software and I created smooth Stormtrooper using that. The soft isn't perfect so some editing had to be done. Here's the sheet and example gifs:

Oh my, this is excellent stuff! I really like your Dark Forces edits, should come in handy for Xim-StarWars. I saw your weapon edits earlier and really liked them, I put them in and then made my own animations for the other weapons in my mod for the next version (you and the others are credited). Thanks a lot for all your work!

@Xim

Very good! I have half-finished smooth Mortar gun (I might probably need help with this one) and I still wanna make smooth DT gun and Thermal Detonator.

You might be also interested in Dark Forces Voxel Pack I am doing for The Force Engine. I should make a thread about this in this forum as well.

Yeah a voxel pack might be interesting. I have a fair amount of guns outside of Dark Forces in Xim-StarWars, but it'd be cool to check them out none the less. I remember toying around with making voxels for Tiberian Sun back in the day. Good luck on smoothing out the other guns. I'm especially interested in a smoother detonator animation.

Axe with Caleb's hands based on this viewtopic.php?f=37&t=15908&start=375#p1101514, it uses Blood palette:

I used doom palette for those base sprites, didn't I? I can find the unpaletted sprites so you will have better color range to work with and maybe it will have richer color range in the end.

If you had unpaletted and handless sprites, sure, why not. I could take a look into that.

HOOH goodness gracious these sprites are so amazing. Especially Duke 3D smooth animations and widescreen-friendly 64 weapons! Looking forward to your next work. Amazing stuff!
