just found out the new version of GZDoom just broke a ton of shit all over the map (because why ensure backwards compatibility right?) and after 4 years working on this just have it get fucked up...im over it.
im probably gonna mark this as a complete waste of time and a dead project. im not going to go back through every level just to have it get broken later, or break it for the older versions when people wanna play with actually decent framerates (and then have the devs act like im stupid for bringing up legitimate issues for every release.)
im straight up defeated at this point. im sick of playing catch up with each version of GZ. That was 4 years of fuckin pain in the ass for nothing.
What ?? Noooo ..
I play on smartphone and can choose which version of gzdoom I want to use (from 4 different versions ) isn't that possible on PC ?
Edit ..
Wow that was something ..after reading the whole thing I finally realized I was posting the noooooo to fast ..gladly
Yeah .brings me back toy question for a test version ..would be awesome ..
I really hope your project gets finished ..looks like it fits in the 20 most detailed and highest quality maps of all time category

I think you're quote-replying to a very old post - there have been updates since then. Beyond that, though, this thread has been untouched since last year.

Re: SVNHRNS/SVNEYES
Since this got bumped, I was reading all of these posts and I got pretty exited! But is the project is dead?

Have you seen that I noticed that myself ..
I had edited the original comment down below after I found out that this wasn't important anymore

Re: SVNHRNS/SVNEYES
In almost nearly all circumstances, unless we are personally involved in a project we typically don't know more than a typical user about a project's state, and this one is unfortunately no exception.Ferretmanjcdenton wrote:Have you any idea if it's still worked on ?
In general it's safe to assume that no updates from the author means it's either not being worked on or it's happening very slowly.
Also bumping topics to ask questions like this is usually considered bad form. It's annoying because then everyone else thinks there are updates when instead it's someone asking questions just like your's, and it's not actually an update from the author.

Re: SVNHRNS/SVNEYES
(for the record, the water does have speculars and does created distortions in the textures below. its dope.
thank you so much for checking in on this.
i got sucked into fallout for a minute and this did definitely take a back seat, but now im kinda upset that i didnt just work on this during quarantine.
either way. this project will never die until it gets released. period. i have worked on this for so long that ill never give up on it.
i just need to finish working on the second map (redoing it) and complete overhaul of the 3rd. then i will release.
im gonna try to hit this as hard as possible over the next few months while inspiration is fresh.
in fact, just for bumping and to satisfy the mods and the people asking here are some screens. i appreciate you keeping me on my toes guys.
also thank you mods for not moving this to dead shit, and not shaming the requestors too hard. glad to see youre all still here kicking ass.

Looking back at this, the aesthetic style reminds me heavily of FEAR.
