I am working on objects and items sprites in HD for doom, Doom 2 .
my goal is to turn most objects and things into high resolution. It's my private project and I'm working on it in my free time. I will inform you about the current status.

Ohh, another one. Good luck, here's hoping this one gets closer to completion than the many many many previous attempts.
But seriously though, be aware than this is a massive undertaking and you are far from the being the first to attempt it. That is, if your goal is to redo ALL the graphics and sprites in HD. I don't mean to dis or sound negative, but do understand I/we have seen tons of these projects before with none actually reaching completion and most eventually being abandoned.

Yes I know about sprites situation. Many packs but many ufinished and not all look good. I am big doom fan and I how many other people want play little modern looking doom. Good sprites are not much. I want made especially frequently used sprites not ALL. Not weapons and not monsters. I have actually done 14 sprites and some are with animation. I have also some new HD textures what are not included DHTP pack and some better Hexen sprites. This is many many hours work. I am not professional but I want made sprites and textures so close original how is possible from me.

The rocket looks a bit odd though. It looks like an upscale that has been retouched to look sharper and the finsare different lengths (the one on the front is much shorter than the side ones).
I've always imagined the base of the lamp to be round. The "stepped" effect of the original sprite is, IMO, merely due to representing a curve with very few pixels.

Yes original sprite has round base. I made this for me because clipping in gzdoom under opengl cut some pixels and looks not good. Settings in gzdoom is not enough. But now I am found how prevent clipping .
