Maybe make the body a little more boney to match the head.

Thanks very much, it'd be interesting to have a look at that.Faceman2000 wrote:If you're interested, I made a modified set of Pain Elemental sprites to remove the constant orange glow from its mouth and added a custom set of melee sprites. I could send them your way if you think they'd be helpful!

I saw some weird gun with the name goes Konstantinov SA-01. And i was like, why not making it into Soviet version of FAMAS? So i did it. Lo Wang version is extra stuff because man, i would like to play that game again. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

As an evening relaxation I tried to make a sprite mockup of possible new enemy. There are not many high quality humanoid enemies. The style is still too cartoony.

Dude, that looks awesome. Reminds me of the zombies from Last Rites, except cooler. He should also explode when you shoot him, however.neoworm wrote:As an evening relaxation I tried to make a sprite mockup of possible new enemy. There are not many high quality humanoid enemies. They are actually inspired by Contra: Rogue Corps. Seems like the only good thing about that game.

Glad to see some lively custom sprites from you, neoworm! Looks exactly like post-apocalyptic stuff!

I get what you mean about the cartoony nature of it, but it's a great-looking enemy and it has an amazing amount of detail for something sticking to Doom human enemy heights. Very nice indeed.neoworm wrote:As an evening relaxation I tried to make a sprite mockup of possible new enemy. There are not many high quality humanoid enemies. The style is still too cartoony.

Man you have a really uncanny ability at retaining peoples original artstyle while doing this perspective switching, like it doesn't look like someone else's edit at all. Awesome work hereSonik.o.fan wrote: *snip

A little test of something to come, i'll probably have to draw on it to have it look more fitting but I'm really out of time, so it might take a while.
