This. The main thing to focus on is getting your sprites looking nice, model rips can be a little messy unedited and it's good to have nice-looking graphics but getting anal about whether or not it "fits the style" can really limit your creativity. I personally enjoy the look of genesis/snes sprites alongside vanilla doom stuff, although that might just be my nostalgia speaking lol

Here's something I've been meaning to make for ages: doom paletted Blood hands :D

and here's some resized paletted Duke hands too cuz why not

Oh yeah... I do love making sprites in limited style because it can be simple and easier, but it can be lame if you're making model rip and what not. I say we should make some sprites with random style whatever you like!

And that's some nice bright hand sprite edits, Skelegant!

I tried a couple more, I think it's lookin' good so far.
EDIT: I finished all the main tyrants now, I'll see about making Nemesis later as well as G variants, and maybe the other lesser tyrants like the tentactly T-091 or T-A.L.O.S.

at this rate, i really wanted to see those tyrants with full spritesheets.

these are so eye-popping.

It'd be somewhat time-consuming and I currently have a lot to do, but I could give it a shot. Hardest one to make would be Hypnos since I barely had material to make that one frame properly, but I'll improvise. Guess I could start with T-002 for nostalgia's sake.

In the meantime, have a less known tyrant I just finished.

Edited Fallschirmjager (paratrooper) to carry the FG42 like in RTCW. Image is loooong; use a sprite slicer to cut into 50 64*64 frames.

Some random rips from the cutting room floor... well maybe I'll use them sometime. Still, if someone wants to add hands, lighting, muzzleflash, animate, whatever, knock yourself out ;)

Are you going to release full sheets of those? They are awesome, Vriska. I would REALLY love to use those in something RE themed...
