It's too bad the Discord client did everything possible to give me a bad experience, up to and including crashing my sound device. Web client's a no-go either.

I'm now logged in to Discord through Pidgin but I have no idea what to do with the server after (from the Pidgin client I mean). I suppose there's not much I can try at this point until I'm approved though...

Nope, discord doesn't work that way. Instead of saying you're banned, it makes all invite links set to expired for the banned. I wish they would change that though... But it's probably for the sake of preventing trolls/spam bots from knowing they've been given the boot.

If you're online when you're banned, the server is just removed from your list of currently connected servers.
