The WARP and WARP2 shaders to a quite good job in most cases but I noticed that the pattern look is quite obvious if you use it for larger water areas (e.g. line horizon situations for a coast). I wonder if anyone is capable of doing some kind of a more realistic an complex water shader. I know the following video is from the Unreal engine but I have no idea what's possible or not so I simply go for the best example

I'm not experienced with adding shaders to specific textures so I'm not sure if this can be done, but I have this shader for making reflections on water. Ignore that though and take a look at the warp feature. I know it's not as fancy as your example but if you still want I can give it a try as a texture shader...
