If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

Whoa, both projects look nice, but man. I'm really digging the looks of autumn flock. Yeah, nice vibes there. Can we expect a playable demo anytime soon, maybe?

Hell, how can a mod break so bad at time D: (like 20% of the mod is broken) ;--;

Well, at least the important parts are working, here's a screenshot with the new fog shader

I have the pace of a glacier, but I'm hoping to have the completed tnt2 map by January-end and a playable minisode of autumn flock sometime in 2018. Granted I thought the same thing in 2017, but I was hankered down pretty heavily with work and my master's program at the time. The coming semester should be lighter I think.

I'm getting some yoshi's island vibes from this. Nintendo seems to inspire some really neat doom mods.

(Golden souls 1 & 2, skulldash, space hunter, metroid dreadnaught, zcart, and some others I seem to be forgeting at the moment.)

I feel intrigued already with your two projects! Autumn Flock is my favorite right now, reminds me of Yoshi Island.

Good to see your projects, man. And i hope one of them completes quickly! Good luck.

Thanks guys =). If anyone's curious, its basically the spiritual successor/continuation of this old (mostly) unreleased project: LCS. The first map in the shot (Best Frienemies) was released individually as part of an old 1on1 focused clan wad called Random Chaos Collab. Unlike LCS though, Autumn Flock is intended for SP =P

Looks really neat! Has a nice lovecraftian feel, and the touches of quasi-realism are cool. One minor critique is that the map in the second video seems to have less height variation in comparison to the map in the first. Perhaps that's the intention though, and its not really a big deal either way. Looking forward to where you go with it =)

Hell, This **** took me a hell of time to animate since doom doesn't support complex animations with hud ;--;
But at least the result is kinda good

I wrote a brand new function that puts a hud message on an actor taking camera roll into account. It uses a bunch of naive vector maths and a good enough linear correction to account for imprecision when looking up and down. I just have to change it a little to do the correction for certain roll values, too.

Look for the small red Cacodemon:
Cyan smiley: My version
Red A: Old version found on the wiki

Straight ahead
With crazy camera roll (close enough)

Edit: Roll adjusted slightly so it remains closer to target. Now it just has to scale the correction values to the aspect ratio and I can call it doneskies.

Edit 2: just editing again to rub in how it works with camera roll

Making a mod based off of the concept of infected humans, or "zombies" from 28 Days Later/Left 4 Dead/Whatever has these rad things. Short summary is a realistic as possible full game, with a story mode or barricade mode/conquer mode. When it's got it's own thread, it'll be revealed more.

Anyhoo, here's some human/infected variations, with additional glasses accessories added for almost all of them at the moment. (Zoom in for this one, y'all.)

Image

Planning to add ginger hair head, National Guard helmets, maybe masks, and hats like beanies and possibly hoodie ones. Oh, and varying eye color.
