To me, it sounds like a reasonable easter egg! People don't want to enjoy a long bath but shower because they're busy these days(says the guy who always showers).

It's that time of year again, and, honestly, I'm pretty stoked to see some Christmas mods pop up. Playing the holiday mod flavor of the year has become almost a tradition for me at this point.
