I am on BoA since 15 February 2015 :)

If you have performance issues, decrease Rendering options to 2048 (all, sfx to 1024). Btw those are good values. You may also follow the development checking github repository (search inside the website)

@Ozymandias81: Sorry for the late reply. Actually is a good performance counting the complexity of the mod.
A really astounding TC we got here, and I put a 10$ donation for the third chapter, and I hope to see more in the future from the BoA team :)

No idea about the compass but I "think" the Kennkarte is from Medal of Honor OR Google :-D

The compass is a stretched HUD graphic from Nosferatu: Wrath of the Malachi, a combination between the sextant and the object itself as you can see

I have extracted the whole graphical resources from it and it has been uploaded here though.

The Blade of Agony was previewed in czech games magazine Bonusweb :)

The main title says: "Can't wait for the new wolfenstein? Try WolfenDoom"

And the first artcle saysg "Project created by fans perfectly combines retro looks with modern game features. This is how would wolfensyein look if we have no raise in computer power."

It is received pretty good, the reviewer is amused with game's looks.

Additional mapper desperately needed
Dear ZDoomers, after taking a closer look at the mapping development for Chapter 3, we have to admit, that we can't lift the huge load of work with the constellation wie currently have. At the moment, I am working as the lead and sole mapper for Chapter 3 as the activity from our other main mapper suffers personal problems. Sure, with enough time, I can do all of it on my own in the upcoming -- let's say 4-5 years :P -- but that's an unreasonable amount of time and work to do for one single person. Next to that, I'd be happy to have some different thoughts and a different point of view when it comes to settings, imagination and approach of realising a certain scenario.

So what are we looking for?
  • You need to have an above-average mapping experience for GZDoom/UDMF maps
  • You need a good imagination and experience for real places
  • You need to be able to adapt the mapping style of existing maps
  • You need to have a passion for WWII shooters in the spirit of MoH and Wolfenstein
  • You need to be reliable
