https://soundcloud.com/daniel-wentz
Descent Underground is coming out, and Daniel Wentz is in office. There are some intersting tracks related to the E3 Descent, and not to mention that there are gimmicks hanging in that soundcloud account (like Meddler). It's really good if you ran out of ideas for music for custom WADs.

Re: Resource Bookmarks
I can't figure out who made these or where they came from. I'd be leery of using them.RSSwizard wrote:found these explosion sprites on google, get them while they're hot, the links may not last

It appears to come from this royalty free footage. If not, I imagine it wouldn't be difficult to isolate thesewildweasel wrote:I can't figure out who made these or where they came from. Re: Resource Bookmarks
From the link in the video description:
There's also a direct link in the video description to the isolated explosions, so you don't need to rip the video or anything. Just use FFMPEG to export the frames to PNG or something.Blinkfarm License Agreement wrote:The license below boils down to this:
1. You cannot sell, share, or give the sounds away by themselves. Please send people to http://www.youtube.com/blinkfarm to get them for free.
2. You must give BlinkFarm credit for the sounds when you do use them.
3. As long as you follow 1 & 2, you can make money off them by using them in your work, whether it’s a video game, a song, a YouTube video, a feature film, etc.

I am thinking of retiring this thread and moving it to the wiki, so that it will be self-maintaining, as I'm too busy these days to continue maintaining this thread. Stay tuned!

Re: Resource Bookmarks
I support this movement, would be willing to help maintain WRT to adding stuff I know of and checking that the links are still live every now and again.Nash wrote:I am thinking of retiring this thread and moving it to the wiki, so that it will be self-maintaining, as I'm too busy these days to continue maintaining this thread. Re: Resource Bookmarks
Since the website link seems pretty dead, I have saved 3 builds of ZDL on my dropbox, now ready to be shared with all of you.
Hopefully it will last there forever.
Download ZDL 3.1, 3.2 and 3.2.2.3b (final build)

https://www.free-decompiler.com/flash/
This just helped me find buried NSF files in one the games where I couldn't get the music out of. I suspect it can also help me find Module Tracker files from "Level Up" as well, even though I was able to download those separately thanks to just asking politely. This is probably the most complete Flash Decompiler I have ever seen.
