Banhammer: A Moderator Simulator

Post by Accensus »

Ever wanted to ban people, but couldn't or didn't have the chance? If the answer to that question is "yes", then Banhammer is just the thing you are looking for! So without further ado, I present to you:

Image

---DOWNLOADS---
Stable [Last update: 05/09/2017] (Developed on dev build. Tested on dev build.)
Development (Can be hella broken.)

MOD IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED!
Spoiler: The Manual. Only valid for Stable version.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Having Fullscreen HUD scaling of 1 is HIGHLY recommended, otherwise the HUD will end up being huge. Unless you're on 4K.

LESS IMPORTANT NOTE: This mod was originally designed as a joke mod. Don't expect entirely new weapon sprites and whatnot. I'm by all means not a good spriter. The edits are kinda shabby, too. Mod might or might not get repetitive; depends on how much you want to ban stuff.
Spoiler: Videos. Caution: may contain outdated material!
Spoiler: F.A.Q
Spoiler: Credits

This mod is accurate about the daily life of a moderator. I approve.

Just got informed that I forgot the keys. :D

Gonna fix that in a few minutes. Working on it.

EDIT: Gonna fix another thing, too.

All fixed.

- Added keys on HUD.
- Added an additional 25% damage resistance when berserked. This is to compensate lack of recovery.
- Added option to toggle whether to alert monsters upon firing or not.
- Updated manual. Forgot about the alt attack dash combo. :P

EDIT: I'll also make any future changes to a separate, development branch. Will merge when enough features have been added.

The only thing you forgot is the Kim Jong Lud nukes. And the poor Discord channels on the other side of them... that never again see the light of day... ;)

I appreciate that we occasionally get temporary shitpost channels in the Discord server. Makes the total meltdowns of culture and dignity a lot of fun. :laff:

I wonder who they could be. It's not like we know. Nope. Not at all.

Forgiveth me, for I have sinneth!

In an attempt to re-rail this thread, I can say that with the help of unRyker (bless this guy), the mod is now deemed FULLY MULTIPLAYER-COMPATIBLE! Well, stable version, at least. (Still no Brutal Doom compat., though.)
