Between Uncharted, Bayonetta 2, Overwatch, Dark Souls 3, Stardew Valley, Fire Emblem, Ori and the Blind Forest, Inside, XCOM 2, Deus Ex, etc. etc. etc. I politely disagree with that statement and wish to make the controversial counter-claim that Videogames Are Pretty Good Nowadays.

I disagree with Dark Souls and Fire Emblem but that's just because those games simply do not interest me, I did enjoy Bayonetta 2 and whatnot so I apologize for forgetting about those : I thought those were released before 2016 (correct me if I'm wrong). I admit, I am an idiot on that part.

But I wasn't saying all modern games are bad but that 2016 in particular was rather disappointing. (Mighty No. 9, No Mans Sky, Paper Mario : Color Splash, ect.)

Not trying to fight but there were some notable shitstorms. ...There was also that company trying to sue over 200 Steam users who simply gave their games bad reviews and now recently they are trying to sue Valve. I think we know how that's going to work. :V

Miiiiiiiiiiiighty No. 9. Huh. From the reviews I saw, Mighty No 9. has mediocre to good reviews. Apperently, on the main site, there's a robot master contest, and it's very interesting to see what these artists have made. The pages I saw were this, this, and this.

Anyways, I'm thinking of a thread idea. It's called the Stupidest shit you've Ever Heard. Basically, you can type stupid stuff that you know about. Here's my stupid thing, and it's the plot from a hentai manga. Shoot me.

So the plot goes like this: "Oh, hey, it turns out that there's these guys who were approved by the government to rape girls in order to make more babies. Never mind that this is supposed to be the future. Never mind that human or women rights wouldn't allow it. Never mind that this isn't supposed to be a very shitty world! You came here to see girls get fucked! Also, apparently, we can fuck the girls in the assholes, even though the guys should only fuck the girls in their vulva's because that's the hole which we use to make babies."

Oh, but that's not the plot, it's just the backstory! What's the plot? Well... Guy goes and has 2 ballerina sisters taken home and raped. Then a bunch of guys rape them while they're restrained with these things. Then a bunch of guys and a bunch of girls (some of which are cameos from other manga series, like Mikan Yuuki from To Love-Ru) have one giant big orgy party. Then the sisters get pregnant. The end.

Now isn't that stupid? (Note, they don't say the word 'rape', but the guys have the girls take sleeping pills so they can bring them home and fuck them against their will, so yeah...)

My mom's birthday is coming up in October and I need some help figuring out what to get for her but I do have 2 things in mind that I think she would like but I don't really know for sure. I need an second opinion.

The 2 things that I would like to get her is a grandfather clock or one of those musical clocks but I can only get one because the price on these 2 items are very expensive so I just need to know which of the 2 should I get or what would you think that she would love the most.

So would she like this clock or an grandfather clock?

It is sad to see how only a handful of people seem to understand and see beyond the shell instead of assuming the person with mental issues is just being the next edgy teenager. You can't share with just anybody because even the people who you think would support you laugh at you cause "get your shit together, this is nothing, you should see how other people have it." Whenever I hear that last part I die inside.

Never could understand why anyone thinks that throwing some more guilt on top of everything else can make it any better. It's like trying to treat a wound with salt.

On-Topic: I just "officially" launched a Legendary playthrough of Halo: Reach. This may have been a bad decision. (On the plus side, I survived every situation where I was forced to go solo. One of which was because my invincible alies that the fight was balanced around refused to get out of the damn truck. It's times like these that I don't feel so bad about not being able to program a competent ally AI. Seemingly, Bungie barely had a grasp of it either...)

Agreed - remember, the rule for these sorts of things is not a solid letter-of-the-law sort of rule, it's an "ick factor" rule, and is subject to reinterpretation as the situation requires.

I think we have 8 foot ceilings in the house I'm not sure but they did add on to the house so the new addition has 9 foot or 10 foot ceilings. Grandfather clock how tall they are I think it depends on how tall you want it. But that's if that's what I'm going for and grandfather clocks are very expensive. But the melody musical clock there not cheap either but its amazing how much work goes into the them. When it plays the whole thing opens up when the music starts. But I am at a lost right now because I really don't know which one that she would love to have.

I decided to revisit some SNES game. And that is Big Sky Trooper. It looks like a little child's game thanks to the art design but it's pretty fun and IMO it's great in terms of immersion.
