OpenGL (regular) and Vulkan do not allow custom shaders

One thing I want to do is test on modern systems (with the GL pipelining) the framerate of this fork versus the framerate of the base OpenGL existent in current GZDoom. In order to do that the shader systems need to be similarly compatible or it will not be a fair test. In theory, modern systems can benefit from the GL pipelining and I would like to test that.

Currently, the GLES port does not support custom shaders of any sort even on the previous backends - be it material shaders or screen shaders. This is even with the proper CVARs turned on and starting with the backends beforehand.

This subforum should have some interesting and small filesize tests for both systems.

Interesting, the texture and post shaders are supposed to works as normal for OpenGL and VK and only be disabled if the gl_customshader CVARs are set to false. This seems to work on mobile when using regular OpenGL anyway when they are set on the command line at launch. Will check if it works for me when I get home.

Oops, they seem to work actually. My mistake. Something must have been wrong with my run environment for them to have not worked before. Sorry.
