How to play this with HACX and ROTT TC properly:

1 - Select either HACX 2.0 (NOT OLDER VERSIONS) or Return of The Triad TC made by El Zee and 5thFifty.
2 - Select Flakes Doom together.
3 - Drag them by the first on gzdoom/zdoom/Zandronum.exe
4 - Select Doom 2/Freedoom 2 as the IWAD
5 - ???
6 - Profit!

*Hacx standard status bar is fucked up and i couldn't round it. The other is alright.

*The Yellow warnings are necessary to recognize both HACX 2.0 and ROTT TC weapons and items. Ignore them.

This was a pleasant little surprise. Played until I got my hands on a BFG and then went to bed while thinking about the mod.

Hey man! I appreciate it a lot! Thanks you liked it.

As for some questions, here we go:

- Probably the chainsaw is going to have a on/off function; when on you can't throw quick grenades (which i think i'm going to add), and will alert monsters even on idle state. When off, well...

- Thank Johnny for the frames! I asked him permission to take it from JohnnyDoom, and hey really flow fine.The intention on adding a plasma shot to the pistol was to suffice a plasma shot without needing a plasma gun (say, you can fire plasma shots on doom II's stage 3 already), and get a even faster. I don't remember how fast was the plasma shot before, but i cranked it's speed up to 35, and the pistol plasma to 70. I also nerfed the cell consuming to 2 instead of three. That seems to make it "fair".
(About charging altfires, i paln one to the plasma gun; but i think a railgun shot would be way too cliché. We'll see that).

- Shotgun's accuracy buffed now it's spread on normal shots lowered from 5.6/5.6 to 3.4/3.4. On the three shot burst, every shot increases it in 1.1/1.1, so: 3.4/3.4 4.5/4.5 and 5.6/5.6.

SSG Kept as it is. But there's one frame that slightly pauses. If i can fix it, it'll become even faster.

- I thought on making the machine gun work like the Doom 4 repeater. But nobody likes locked three shot bursts. So, while i think on a nice altfire, i lowered the machinegun spread to 2.9 and inverted chaingun and machinegun speed ticks.

- A new pickup sprite for the chaingun is on the oven.

- RL Speed will be raised.

- Plasma rifle got its speed buffed. I forgot to say, though you already seen: it fires one tick faster, to match Doom 4.

- Well, all i know is that the bfg won't have it's beta altfire.

Definitely liking the feel of these so far, outside of the chaingun and pistol (primary fire, anyway, i wasn't able to find cells in my brief playtest) feeling a bit on the weak side.

Game got updated, now we have some quick changes suggested by Deii:

- Plasma Rifle and Plasma Pistol projectile speeds buffed.
- Rocket launcher projectile speed buffed.
- Shotgun and machine gun spread lowered
- Inverted chaingun and machinegun speeds
- Pistol cell consumpt nerfed from 3 to 2 cells per shot.
- New pickup sprite for the chaingun
- SSG speed buffed.

Hooray! An update!

Guess being unemployed is a good thing to you guys... I updated my games like, 5 times in less than a week.

Just kidding. Game is now updated, and should feel better to play now. My only personal complain is the new railgun altfire for the plasma rifle, but the charging shot is being occupied by the BFG now.
