Original post kept for historical purposes. Will update whenever I re-open commissions:
Hello, I'm Nash Muhandes and I am accepting commissions for Actors (monsters, NPCs, player sprites; any moving actor in the world) with full sprite sets (either mirrored rotation or full rotation). Gritty art style is my main forte, but I am able to produce stylized art too (cartoony, retro, hand-drawn-style pixels) at your request. While I am more experienced with organic or humanoid actors - I am confident in doing automatons/robots too, if given the opportunity.
I only do original concepts and designs - absolutely no frankenspriting (and definitely NO spritesourcing from commercial/known resources).
My rate starts at a base of [price to be revised while commissions are closed] which may vary (either higher or even lower) depending on your specific requests... typically more sprites/states/frames would increase the rate, and vice versa in the other direction.
The base sprite order will get you standard Doom-style states: Spawn, See, Melee, Missile, Pain, Death, XDeath.
I mainly accept Paypal, but am open to other payment methods upon request.
"lmaoooo why should i pay you, i can get sprites for free"
Well here are some reasons why you'd want to hire me:
1 - Completely original art and actor design custom made for YOUR project. No frankensprites, no copyrighted artwork. The sprites will be yours upon delivery; do whatever you want with them!
2 -
3 - I am very experienced with creating art for the Doom engine in particular and know how to handle Doom-specific renderer quirks (the weird Doom aspect ratio for example). What this means is that your sprites are guaranteed to look good in-game.
4 - If you are working on a TC or standalone game and want unique, never-seen-before visuals, I'm your guy.
Feel free to hit me up on the ZDoom Discord (just @ me in #general or #assets) or tweet me at @NashMuhandes and we can talk about your projects. :)

Spoiler:
Final note: I reserve the right to decline a commission for any logical reason that makes sense - for example, if I am at full workload capacity and cannot take another, or if I have busy IRL schedule, or if the project is offensive, etc etc etc...
