Hey Zdoom forums, this is a project that I worked on, but cancelled, so I decided to share it just so that my 2 years of work won't be gone for nothing. Before you mods scream at me - I didn't know where to post this, that's why I posted it here. You can freely move it anywhere you want. So, what is this mod about anyways? This was supposed to be a huge TC, with a visual style reminiscent of old digitized FPS (Kinda like TekWar). Most of the assets were made by me from photographs, and as a result create that feeling of those ugly early fps. I shared this because I thought people might find these assets useful in their mods, so which means feel free to use anything from this mod. No need to credit me, but it would be a nice touch. And I don't think this holds much value, as some portion of the code was stolen, I'm sorry, I was an idiot. But anyways, I hope you people may find this stuff useful for your work, that's all I have to say.
Users can modify the wad all they like, which means continuing developing it or remaking it - basically open source if anyone needs it."

Having had a look through this, and played a few maps, I can see that there definitely was a big-picture with this project and that you were quite well along with creating something in line with what the first posts suggests.
Obviously, it's not finished and would take quite a bit of work to get it into a releasable state, but there are some interesting resources in here. A lot of it consists of familiar resources (ROTT, Strain and others - so quite a bit of it is a style mish-mash) but there is a lot of new stuff here too and it's definitely in line with the intended "visual style reminiscent of old digitized FPS".
If the project really is abandoned and you just want this to be used as a resource dump, I can move it to the resources forum for you.

OK, as you can see, the topic is moved and I added your permissions to the first post.
I figured this is a better place for the project than the abandoned projects forum simply because this has a chance to become a live resource or even a project for someone. It may end up in abandoned if that doesn't happen though.

I've played the first chapter so far, and I honestly love this! It's nothing to write home about, but besides the weird secrets (One I think might be broken), occasional missing textures, and instant killing rocket drones, this is an enjoyable mod/game/whatever you wanna call it. It's got that "I made this
" charm to it, especially the different items. I'd honestly recommend this for a fun time killer if anything, and I'd actually like to link this to a streamer who plays a lot of Doom mods and such if you wouldn't mind.
EDIT: I'd also like to send him a tweaked version, mostly fixing any bugs regarding secrets and textures, but either way, I'll link him to this page so he can play the original version as well.

I'd like this tweaked version as well. I'm thinking about getting a crew (maybe a crew of one, because everyone I know are lazy fvcks) to give T.R.E.K. a better look and "fork" it. Like you said, it's enjoyable and fun.
